2013 | Day 334 - Grandmama Tree

Tonight we went to family home evening at Grandmama and Granddaddy Putnam's house.  The activity for the night was decorating the tree.

2013 | Day 333 - Black Friday

I have been in desperate need of thread for the past few weeks, so this morning I decided to brave the lines and I went to JoAnn's first thing.  I ended up getting $250 worth of thread for $80.  I think it was worth it. 

2013 | Day 332 - Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!  We had such a wonderful day.  We got up really early and drove to Sharon and Mike's house for our annual Putnam Breakfast.  We had waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, bagels, and juice.  It was so good.  After breakfast all the kids and boys went outside to play.  The drove the 4-wheelers around the house for hours.  I stayed inside with the girls to talk and look at ads. 

We went home around 1pm and made our Thanksgiving Feast.  We had turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, corn, and rolls.  It was such a great dinner.  After we ate, we watched the movie Despicable Me 2.  It was really funny.  The last thing we did was eat apple pie with vanilla ice cream.  It was the perfect ending to this amazing day.  I love my family so much and I am so thankful we get to be together for all eternity. 

2013 | Day 331 - Chalkboard

I decorated the chalkboard for our Thanksgiving celebration tomorrow.  I loved how it turned out this year.

2013 | Day 330 - Games

The kids are off school this week for Thanksgiving and Scott ended up having Monday and Tuesday off.  So, we spend the entire day playing games.  We played Rummy-o, Ticket to Ride, Sorry, Yahtzee, Bounce, and Don't Break the Ice.  It was really fun!

2013 | Day 329 - Cool

Chase was standing next to Scott today and started standing like this.  He was crossing his legs and arms and leaning on Scott's arm.  It was super cute!

2013 | Day 328 - Austin

Today is Austin's 5th birthday.  To celebrate we at Austin Spaghetti for dinner and sent birthday cards to him via balloons. 

2013 | Day 327 - Poptarts

Chase is obsessed with poptarts.  He asks for one every single morning.

2013 | Day 326 - Book Report

Dean had 2 big homework assignments due today.  He had a book report on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe due in his reading class.  He also had to make a drum for music class.  I think they both turned out great.  He worked really hard on his book report.  He had to read the book in 2 weeks, then do the report.  I am so proud of him and the hard work he puts into school. 

2013 | Day 325 - Key Chains

I did another photo shoot today.  Today I took pictures of my key chains.

2013 | Day 324 - 200 Straps

Scott and I have been working extremely hard the past few weeks.  We now have over 200 camera straps ready to sew.  The goal is to get another 100 done to this point by the end of next week. 

2013 | Day 323 - Holiday Straps

Today I did a camera strap photo shoot for my holiday sales.  I loved how they turned out.  This is one of my favorites.

2013 | Day 322 - Working Hard

Chase went to work with Scott today.  They were having a caddie/guest day at the course and Scott has to go work for a few hours.  He decided to take Chase along for the day.  Chase had tons of fun.  He helped clean up balls, he got to drive the cart, and play a little golf :)  After work, Scott took Chase to the hospital to get his staples out.  He said it was quick and easy.

2013 | Day 321 - Curls and Cards

We curled Kenzie's hair for church this morning.  It looked gorgeous.  She has the best hair.  After church, we took a skype picture for my parents Christmas card this year. 

2013 | Day 320 - Purple Party

Scott and I went to a party for a co-workers wife.  It was pretty fun.  We either had to wear purple or dress like we were going to a Yacht Rock concert.  Scott picked the concert attire.  After the party we went and got frosted oranges from the varsity.  It was a fun date night. 

2013 | Day 319 - Feast...again

Today was Dean's Thanksgiving Feast at school.  Scott had to work today, so Chase and I went to eat with Dean.  It was fun.  I packed Chase a school lunch just like Deans.  They both though that was really cool.

2013 | Day 318 - Christmas Tree

The Christmas tree is up!  I know it's a little early, but it is so cold outside.  We had so much fun.  We listened to holiday music and had a fire.  I have a feeling that we might have to redecorate it a lot this year, because Chase is already pulling off the ornaments.

2013 | Day 317 - Feast

Scott, Chase, and I went to Kenzie's school today for a Thanksgiving Feast.  It was so fun to have lunch with her.  She didn't want the school food, so she just took her normal PB&J lunch.  Scott and Chase shared a school lunch and said it was pretty good.

2013 | Day 315 - Read

Kenzie loves to read.  She reads every day when she gets home from school, and every night before bed.  I love standing in the kitchen listening to her.  She is getting so good at it and has started loving chapter books.  It is fun to watch her develop a love of books.

2013 | Day 314 - Tall

We measured Dean's height today before church.  I can't believe how tall he's getting.  He's over 4.5 feet tall now.  I bet he'll be 5 feet by his 10th birthday. 

2013 | Day 313 - Tree

Today we did a fall art project.  The kids thought it was really fun.  (Well, Dean and Kenzie thought it was fun, Chase just cried the whole time.)  I first traced the kids hands and arms, then painted them brown.  After that was dry, we made red, yellow, and orange leaves with their finger prints.  This was the fun part!

2013 | Day 312 - Movies

Scott had to work late tonight, so while we waited for him to get home we all watched the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

2013 | Day 310 - Gifted

We got a letter from the school asking for our consent to test Kenzie for the gifted program!  I am so proud of her.

2013 | Day 309 - Staples

Chase had to get 2 staples in his head today?  It was really sad.  He was in the sewing room with us before lunch and he fell back off a chair.  He hit his head on the corner of a paper cutter.  We took him to the ER and they put 2 staples in his head.  The horrible part was that they couldn't numb him.  They said that skulls don't numb.  So, Scott had to hold him down and they did it as fast as they could.  I hope we don't have another trip to the ER for a very long time.

2013 | Day 307 - Matching

Chase and Dean wore matching sweaters to church today.  They looked so cute together.

2013 | Day 306 - Nine

Dean is NINE YEARS OLD!  I can't believe how fast he is growing.  Today we celebrated his birthday and had his cake.  He even let me take a few pictures of him.  He is such a handsome boy and I love him so much. 

2013 | Day 305 - Citizen

Kenzie got Citizen of the Month for October in her class.  We got to go to a little award ceremony and breakfast at the school.  It was very fun to see her get her award.  She is such a sweet girl and I am very proud of her.  She also LOST ANOTHER TOOTH!  She lost it while eating a cookie and she couldn't find it.  So, she wrote a not for the tooth fairy and put it in the tooth pouch instead of her tooth.  After the kids got home from school we decorated cupcakes with grandma.  It was a very fun and super busy day.
