2013 | Day 90 - Easter

I love getting the family all dressed up for Easter.  This year I went with a peach and blue theme.  I loved it.  The kids were adorable!

This year the Easter Bunny did something a little different.  Instead of just hiding the baskets, he hid the baskets then attached yarn to them and created a maze of yard the kids had to follow to find the basket.  The kids thought this was the best thing ever!   I think we have a new tradition started.

2013 | Day 89 - Egg Hunt

We had our annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Putnam's today.  It was really fun.  The kids are getting older, so the eggs are getting harder and harder to find.  Dean had a really hard time finding a few of the eggs, then when he located them, he had a hard time reaching the eggs.  Kenzie just loved every second of it.  Chase did a great job picking up all his eggs.  After the egg hunt, the kids got to trade in their eggs for a bag full of candy!  Then we ate dinner and decorated cupcakes.  It was a really fun day with the family!

2013 | Day 88 - Chuck E Cheese

Sharon took Dean and Kenzie to Chuck E Cheese tonight.  They are spending the night with her and she always spoils them when she can.  They sent me this picture while they were out and it made me smile.  Kenzie is so cute!

2013 | Day 87 - Trio Man

Dean made this Trio Man today and he asked to borrow my phone so he could take a few pictures of his creation.  I love that the kids are wanting to document their lives!

2013 | Day 86 - Pinewood Derby

Tonight was Dean's 1st ever Pinewood Derby.  It was so fun to watch him at the races.  He won 1st place in speed, and 3rd in show.  He was such a good sport and was nice to all the other scouts.  I was very proud of him.  He and Scott worked really hard on the car and I'm glad it paid off in the end!

2013 | Day 85 - Painting

Dean worked on painting his pinewood derby car today.  I think it looks pretty cool.  It was very specific about how he wanted the paint.  I am excited to see how fast it can go!

2013 | Day 84 - Art Exhibit

Kenzie had one of her art pieces featured in the Gwinnett County Schools Art Exhibit!  We were very proud of her.  She is such a creative artist and I love watching her talent grow.  After the exhibit, we all went to dinner at Outback.  Grandmama, Sharon, Mark and Estela all came to see her artwork as well. 

2013 | Day 83 - Puzzle

2013 | Day 82 - Entry

The kids entered the Crazy 8 tee shirt contest.  Today we had to turn in their pictures.  They both worked hard on their entry and I think they did an awesome job!

2013 | Day 81 - 36 Years

We celebrated Scott's 36th birthday a day early this year because he is going to be working all day tomorrow.  It was a fun day.  We gave him some new ties, a new belt, and some new shorts.  All things he needed. 

2013 | Day 80 - Potty Time

Chase likes potty time.  He gets to play with my iphone or we read books.

2013 | Day 79 - Sanding

Dean has been working really hard on his pinewood derby car.  Today he sanded it so that he can get it painted soon.  It was a lot of hard work, bit it looks great! 

2013 | Day 78 - Underwear

We let Chase wear big boy underwear today for the first time!

2013 | Day 77 - Magic

The kids were practicing their magic tricks today.  Dean is really getting the hang of a few of the tricks.

2013 | Day 75 - Home Sick

Dean is really sick today.  He stayed home from school and stayed in bed all day.  I feel terrible for him.  I always hate watching my kids in pain. 

2013 | Day 74 - Nineteen Months

Chase is 19 months old.  He is such a fun little boy.  He is learning new words and growing every day.  We love him so much!

2013 | Day 73 - Pi Day

Happy Pi Day!  Today was really fun.  For Pi Day we watched the movie 'Life of Pi', I made the kids a Chocolate Creme Pie, and we ate Pizza Pie for dinner.  The kids love days like this.

2013 | Day 72 - Backpack

Chase and I went shopping at the new Children's Place they just opened.  It was really fun.  The ladies working at the store fell in love with Chase.  They thought he was so cute and fun.  They even gave him a backpack full of toys and books to take home with him.  He was so excited.  He wanted to carry around his stuff the rest of the day!

2013 | Day 71 - Prints

We finally got around to doing Kenzie's hand and foot prints. 

2013 | Day 70 - Sucker

Chase went pee pee in the potty today and he got a sucker for his prize!  He was very excited and proud of himself.

2013 | Day 68 - Grandma

My Mom had a very long lay over in Atlanta today, so we went to the airport early in the morning and picked her up.  We got to spend the entire day with her before we took her back in the evening.  It was fun to see her for a few hours. 

2013 | Day 67 - Painting Shutters and Hair Cut

Scott spent his day off painting the shutters on the house.  They look so much better now.  They were getting really faded. 

Well, Chase got his first buzz cut today.  He really needed a hair cut because he couldn't see anything anymore since his hair was past his eyes.  So, I tried to cut it with scissors and did a terrible job.  The only option we had left was to buzz it.  I did it the longest I could, but it was still really short.  I am really sad.  I miss his long hair already,.  I am going to let it grow back, then I am going to pay for him to get it cut next time!

2013 | Day 66 - Tool Box

Dean made his own tool box at Cub Scouts last night. 

2013 | Day 65 - Slides

Today I finished scanning the last of the slides I have at my house.  They were some of my Mom's old high school pictures.  I am so happy to be finished with them.  Now I am going to pack up the scanner and sell it asap!

2013 | Day 64 - Blue

Chase loves Blues Clues.  So, today I went and found all my old blue stuffed animals for him to play.  He loved it.  He gave blue tons of kisses and pretended to talk like him.

2013 | Day 63 - Potty

We got out Chase's new potty today.  He seems to really like it.  I am not sure if I like it.  It doesn't seem easy for him to use, so I might look into getting him a new one.  But anyways, we are not potty training yet, we are just letting him get used to the idea of a potty.  So far he loves to sit on it every time we change his diaper!

2013 | Day 62 - Super 7

Chase's favorite game on the iPad is called super 7.  It is a math game where you have to join moving circles to equal 7.  He always looses in the first few seconds but he loves to play!

2013 | Day 60 - Sick Boy

Well, we are really sick at our home.  Chase has been throwing up so we wanted him to sleep in our room.  So we set up the old pack n play on top of tons of blankets and towels.  He also has a few throw up bowls next to the bed.
