2012 | Day 182 - Trio Fort

Dean and I made a trio fort today.  It was a lot of fun and a lot of work.  We let Chase play in it when he woke up from his nap.  He loved it.

Chase took a nap without any clothes today.  It was way too hot.

Today David and Katie had a new baby named Ethan.  He is so cute! I loved being able to go visit him in the hospital.

We taped the wall today for the Chalkboard.  I can't wait for it to be finished!

We are painting a chalkboard onto the wall of our dining room.  Today we prepped the wall.

2012 | Day 175 - Letters to Austin

Kenzie asked me if we could send letters to Austin.  So, we sent them to him via balloons.  It was a very special experience.

Chase loves when Daddy gets home.  He crawls as fast as he can to see him.  I love how much he loves Scott.

Chase learned how to feed himself out of a pouch.  It has made feeding him so much easier.

Chase has started trying to get out of his swing.  I guess it's time to put it away.

The kids made forts in their bedroom yesterday and I let them sleep in them.  It would be fun to be a kids again :)

The kids both have 100 spelling/sight words they have to learn before school starts.  Kenzie has to write her words each day.  Then she has to read her word cards to me.

Chase ate Mac & Cheese for the first time tonight.  He LOVED it.  I think this was the happiest he has ever been.

The kids are taking piano lessons from Scott this summer.  Today is Dean's first lesson.

I thought we all looked so nice today for Church that I made everyone stop for a few seconds to snap a family picture.  I love this picture so much.  It is one of my favorites.  It is wonderful to be a family of 5 now!
