Day 65:365 - Click

Kenzie is really good at watching people and copying what they do.  She decided to copy me today so she got Deans camera and started taking pictures of me while I took pictures of her.

Day 64:365 - Flintstones

We started giving the kids Flintstone vitamins.  They think they died and went to heaven.  They think we are giving them a piece of candy every night.

Day 63:365 - Curtains

I was so sick of the curtains in my kitchen that today I decided to sew some new ones.  I really like how they turned out.  They are really bright and fun!

Day 62:365 - Superboy

Dean loves his superhero cape I made him for Christmas last year.  He wears it all the time.  He actually got 2 capes, one red and one blue.  He likes the red one best since it has baseballs on it.

Day 61:365 - Snowball

Today we all went outside to play in the snow.  It was really fun.  Scott and Dean had a snowball fight.  I think that Scott won.  The kids loved it!  Kenzie spent most her time in the little pink house and Dean just wanted to run around.

Day 60:365 - Snow

We had our first snow of the year in GA today.  It was beautiful outside, but I really felt bad for our little flowers that started blooming a few days ago.

Day 59:365 - Case

I made this little case for my iPhone this afternoon.  I think it is really cute!  It was really fun to play around with the design!

Day 58:365 - Supergirl

Kenzie has really started to enjoy playing dressups.  She walks around with her super hero cape and all her jewelry on.  It is adorable!

Day 57:365 - Jill-e

I love my Jill-e camera bag.  It is just so pretty and fun.  It also is big enought to hold all my photography equipment!

Day 56:365 - Lollypop

Emily and Lyle gave Kenzie this giant lollypop last week. She had a lot of fun eating it and playing with it as if it were a wand.

Day 55:365 - Jedi

Dean is OBSESSED with Star Wars. He got into it by playing the Lego Star Wars game the past few months. Scott and Dean watched ALL the movies together and are now watching the New Clone Wars TV series. Dean is always pretending to play star wars. I love that he is using his imagination. Today he was keeping his light sabers on his back. He only has 1 light saber, so he was pretending that his sword was one also.

Day 54:365 - Diapers

I have always wanted a cute diaper caddy for all the diaper changing supplies. We have just used the little pink plastic bin that they give you at the hospital. We have used that since Dean was born. Well, the other day, I went to Michael's to pick up some supplies, and they had this cute caddy by Amy Butler in the clearance section. I just had to have it. I might go back and get another one!

Day 53:365 - Dressup

We celebrated all the February birthdays for Scotts family tonight. So, Kenzie got a lot of fun gifts. She got some really cute dressups and she was really excited to start playing.

Day 52:365 - Scrabble

I found some scrabble valentine games at target for 90% off, so I got a few of them. Each box has 100 tiles. So, since Scott and I like to leave notes for each other on our refrigerator, I made them into magnets.

Day 51:365 - Nap

Kenzie is great at taking her nap everyday. She usually sleeps from 2:30 - 5:30. I am glad that she still needs the nap, because it is a good time for me to get stuff done in the house!

Day 50:365 - Project

I am so proud of myself! Today I decided to sew some panels for the bottom of my cutting table. We store a lot of boxes under the table and I wanted them covered up. I am so happy with how it turned out. I love the colors and everything!!!

Day 49:365 - Pillows

I bought a new soft cover and some new pillows for the front room. I was so excited to find them in the Target clearance section.

Day 48:365 - Keys

I started making my own key chains at the end of last year. I made them for all the girls in my family for a Christmas gift. I love it!

Day 47:365 - Books

My kids love books. Kenzie usually wants me to read 5 or 6 books a day and she reads them to herself all the time (well, looks at the pictures). Dean is really wanting to learn to read. We are starting to work hard on that goal. I am just happy they are developing a love for reading!

Day 46:365 - Adorable

I just thought this picture was so cute. Dean is such a stud!

Day 45:365 - Love

I love that my kids love each other. Dean is always watching out for Kenzie, getting her water, making sure she doesn't get hurt, sharing his toys, ect... They are just great friends. I am so glad they have each other!

Day 44:365 - Ketchup

Ok, so tonight we decided to get the kids donuts for being so good while we were out, and after dinner we gave everyone some for dessert. Kenzie decided that she wanted to dip her donut in the ketchup. She loved it, but it kind of made me sick to watch her.

Day 43:365 - Garbage

I love to buy everything on Etsy. I got this really cute trash bag for the van from a cute little etsy shop. It is so nice to have something to help keep the car clean.

Day 42:365 - Slippers

My sisters gave Dean these slippers for his 4th birthday. He loves them. He or Kenzie wears them all the time. I am just glad he has something to keep his feet warm!

Day 41:365 - Deano

It was 70 degrees today when Scott came home from work, so we all went outside to play. I asked Dean to sit for a second so I could take a picture of him. I was so happy when I downloaded the pictures and saw this one. He is just such a stud! I love him so much :)

Day 40:365 - Lovebird

I love this little "Lovebirds" shirt. I bought it for Kenzie while in New York a few months ago at Target. It is adorable on her.

Day 39:365 - GT

I bought this licence plate for Scott about 7 or 8 years ago and we were never able to use it. But, now that we have our van, it works perfect on the front. Scott was so excited to put it on the car.

Day 38:365 - Height

I bought this height ruler from The Pottery Barn a few years ago. It is so fun to have a place for the kids to keep track of their height. I plan to use this ruler for all the kids, and grand kids. It will be fun to compare each kids height at each age. We usually measure on birthdays. So, last night at about 11 we did Kenzie. She is just under 3 feet tall!

Day 37:365 - Two

Happy Birthday Kenzie. Today she turned 2 years old. She is such a wonderful little girl. We are so happy that she is apart of our family. I tried to get a picture of the 2 kids and this was the best one. They are such good friends.

Day 36:365 - Gifts

Tomorrow is Kenzie's 2nd birthday. Here are all the gifts that I wrapped for her party!

Day 35:365 - Lunch

Scott made the kids lunch today. He made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with chips. Scott is really good at making the kids food look really fun.

Day 34:365 - Caddie

One of my least favorite parts of Scott's job is the schedule. I love that we can pick and choose which days he works. But we wont know if he works the next day until after we check the caddie voicemail everyday around 5:00pm. It just makes it really hard to schedule things like doctors appointments or shopping trips. Also, I never know when he will be home from work. Some days its as early as noon, and other days he wont get home until 10 at night.

Day 33:365 - Trash

Scott takes out the trash in our house. I have never done it in the 6 years we have been married. It has just always been part of his responsibilities. So, now that Dean is getting older, he likes to help with this chore. He loves walking around the house and collecting all the trash cans. Then they both take the trash outside and to the street. It is good for Dean to learn how to work.

Day 32:365 - Stitches

Here is Kenzie the day after getting 3 stitches. She looks so happy even though she is in pain. I feel so bad for her. She just starts crying every once in a while when it gets touched. She is being really brave.

Day 31:365 - ER

Tonight Kenzie fell off a kitchen chair and put her teeth through her lip. We had to rush her to the ER for stitches. I took a few pictures with my camera phone, but I can't figure out how to get them off the camera. So, when I got home I took this one of her identification bracelet. She was so mad when they put this on her. She tried her hardest to take it off. It was a very traumatic day for everyone, especially Kenzie.

Day 30:365 - Temple

Today Mark and Estella got married in the Atlanta Temple. It was a beautiful wedding and a beautiful and VERY cold day. The kids looked so cute all dressed up. Kenzie wore her black dress that I ordered this past summer. She looks stunning in black. I just wish she would sit still long enough for me to take her picture.

Day 29:365 - Running

Dean and Kenzie are really good friends. They love to play together. But, Dean is bigger than Kenzie and he loves to chase her around. She usually runs as fast as she can while laughing the whole time. I love it!

Day 28:365 - Elliptical

Today Scott went and bought me my very own Elliptical! I am so excited. I have been wanting to start working out and getting into shape for a while now. And, I told Scott that there was no way I was going to go outside and walk. I just wanted an elliptical or treadmill so I could stay inside with the kids to exercise. So, we started looking around at used machines and we found this one in like new condition. It is wonderful!!! It is a NordicTrack ASR 1000. It is really fun and I actually feel like I am getting a good workout. Now, my goal is to use it 5 days a week.

Day 27:365 - Potato

Tonight I really wanted tacos for dinner, so I made a huge pan of scalloped potatoes for the meal. I usually make this last at least a week or so. We cook the potatoes, and then brown some hamburger meat and add the potatoes into the meat to finish cooking. It is AWESOME!!!

Day 26:365 - Brace

My hand brace is the only thing that makes it so I can use the computer. Without it, my hand is in constant pain.

Day 25:365 - Rocket

Sharon gave Dean this rocket launcher last summer. He has so much fun with it whenever we go outside. He isn't allowed to play with it inside or around Kenzie since he always tries to launch it at her!

Day 24:365 - Minivan

I am in LOVE with my new mini van. It is perfect!!! I love the automatic doors, the DVD player, the navigation system, and the heated seats. It is the first time in my adult life that I have enjoyed driving!

Day 23:365 - Face

Dean LOVES to make silly faces when I am taking pictures. He will usually close his eyes and do something silly with his mouth. Here is just one of the hundreds of pictures I have of Dean making a face like this!

Day 22:365 - Crazy

Kenzie wakes up every morning and puts all her necklaces on and her hat. It is really cute. She is really starting to love dressups. I love having a girl around the house!

Day 21:365 - Potty

Kenzie decided that she wanted to sit on the big potty. She likes to copy Dean since he is such a big boy. So, she just sits there and reads her books. She still has been successful or anything, but she thinks its fun!

Day 20:365 - Dishes

My least favorite part about my house is that it doesn't have a dish washer. So, for the past 6 years I have washed every dish by hand. I really don't like washing dishes anymore!!!

Day 19:365 - Song

Right now my favorite song is One Republic "Apologize" I Love that song. I think I listen to it 10 or more times a day. Actually, I really like everything by One Republic.

Day 18:365 - Cute

I just love this girl. I can't believe how fast she is growing. It amazes me everyday to see and hear all the new things she has learned.

Day 17:365 - Etsy

Etsy is my FAVORITE online site. I could spend our entire savings on the amazing creations that other people sell. I have 2 shops open at the moment. I sell camera straps at my Cotton Candy by Natalie shop and I sell fabric at Just Fabric. It is such a great place for the work at home Mom.

Day 16:365 - Stew

Tonight I made my favorite winter meal, Stew! It was perfect! Scott and I got up this morning and cut all the vegetables and filled the crock pot with all the yummy ingredients. It smelled so good all day. We couldn't wait until dinner time to eat it. It was cool because even Dean thought it was good! I also made some Rhodes rolls to go with it.
