2013 | Day 212 - Dentist

Dean and Kenzie had their dental checkup and cleaning today.  They both did fab.  No cavities for either of them and they were so brave.  I was very proud of them both.

Kenzie loves art and she really loves to paint. 

2013 | Day 210 - Culvers

I am going home to Atlanta today.  Emily took me to Culvers for lunch it was so good.  They have frozen custard.  I got mine with butterfingers.  I can't wait to go back again.

Sam wore the cutest shirt today and I had to get a picture of us together since I am his favorite Aunt!

2013 | Day 208 - More Sam

I am still hanging out with little Sammy.  He is such a sweet boy.  I love having him all to myself this weekend.

I am in Wisconsin visiting Emily, Lyle and their new little baby, Sam.  He is such an adorable baby.  I love that I get to spend a few days with him and Emily.  

2013 | Day 206 - Dean and Kenzie

Dean and Kenzie playing around in my room.  They are such good friends and I love to watch them play together.

On another note, Chase went all day with out any accidents and he wore underwear the whole day!

2013 | Day 205 - Raingutter Regatta

Dean got to participate in the raingutter regatta at cub scouts tonight.  His boat was pretty cool.  He made a pirate ship.  It was fun to watch.  They really didn't have a winner, but all the kids got to race each other.

Dropping camera straps into the mailbox at the post office today. 

2013 | Day 203 - Playing

We all went to the park this morning.  It was wet but the kids still had a lot of fun.

2013 | Day 201 - Lake Again

We got to go to the lake again today!!!  We were all so excited.  Dean really wanted to try to wake board today.  We first let him go with Mike so he could see how it feels.  Then he got to try on his own.  He did pretty good for his first time.  The bad part of the day was when my camera broke!  It broke right when Dean was going to wake board for the 1st time.  It made me really sad.

2013 | Day 200 - Big Potty

Chase is starting to learn how to use the big potty today.

2013 | Day 199 - Popsicle

2013 | Day 198 - BandAid

Chase got a boo boo on his knee today.  Poor boy hated having to wear a bandaid.  He wouldn't leave it alone. 

2013 | Day 197 - Trio Robot

Dean made a robot out of Trios today.  I love seeing him be creative. 

2013 | Day 196 - Twenty Three

My little guy is 23 months.  That is only 1 month from being two years old.  It is amazing to see how much he has changed these past months.  It feels like he is learning new things daily right now.  I am so in love with our sweet Chase!

2013 | Day 195 - Computer

Kenzie has found a few games she likes to play on the computer.  So, today after church she asked if she could play for a while.

2013 | Day 194 - Diving Board

Kenzie jumped off the diving board for the first time.  We went swimming at the Avondale pool and when we got there, Kenzie walked straight to the diving board and walked to the end of it.  She then got scared and turned around.  When she got back to us she asked Scott to help her.  When he was in the water under the board she was brave enough to jump right in.  I was so proud of her!

2013 | Day 193 - Play Money

When the kids finish a chore card they earn play money.  They have to complete all the tasks on the card before they can get their money. 

2013 | Day 192 - Chore Cards

This is our second summer using Chore Cards.  It is a great way to have the kids do their chores and earn rewards.  The best part about it is that they get a new set of chores each day.  So, they don't have to clean the same thing over and over again.  They really like the system.  They can earn things like video games, candy, late bedtime, ect.

While the boys went to scouts, Kenzie and I painted our finger nails!

2013 | Day 190 - Grandma Day

Grandma Bush came into town for a few hours today.  It was fun waiting in at the airport for her to arrive.  The kids got to sit on top of the car and watch the airplanes fly by.  They loved it.  After we picked up Grandma we went to a park and had a picnic, then we took Dean to the rock climbing place.  He got to climb the big wall today for the 1st time.  He was very brave and had fun with it.  After that we all went to the pool for a while before we had to take Grandma back to the airport.

2013 | Day 189 - Beach

The kids were so excited when we were finally at the Beach.  They had so much fun.  They ran in the waves, built sand castles, and just had fun being outside.  I am not a huge fan of the beach, but I had a really fun time this trip.  It was fun to just sit and watch the kids play.  At one point, Chase decided to fall asleep for his nap.  The only thing was that he was playing in the ocean when he finally was snoozing.  So, Scott had to carry him to me.  It was really cute!

We took the kids to the Bay Creek park this afternoon. 

2013 | Day 186 - Lake

Sharon and Mike bought a boat a few weeks ago.  They invited us to go on the lake with them today and we had so much fun!  The kids got to swim and ride on the tube, and Scott got to wake board.  It was a very fun day and we can't wait to go back!

2013 | Day 185 - Puddle Jumping

This 4th of July was kind of a weird one.  It rained most of the day, so all the fireworks were canceled.  I did manage to get a few pictures of the kids before the showers.  And, instead of fireworks we went jumping in puddles!  It turned out to be a really fun day!

2013 | Day 184 - Fish

Chase is really loving the pool this year.  When we started going he was scared and wouldn't stop holding onto us.  Now he is a little fish.  He loves swimming around by himself.  He likes it when Scott throws him in the air or does other tricks with him.  He now asks to go to the pool daily. 

2013 | Day 183 - Sky

The sky was gorgeous tonight.  I had to snap a picture or 2 on my phone. 

2013 | Day 182 - Chase Hat

Scott got a had with the Chase logo on it and be gave it to Chase as a gift.  Chase was super excited about the gift!
