Day 31:365 - Muffins

Our house was freezing this morning.  So, I made some muffins and we had a breakfast picnic in our bedroom.

Day 30:365 - Ready to go

Kenzie is a princess all the time.  She loves to wear her tutu's out of the house.  She decided to wear one to Grandmama and Granddaddy's house today.  I love how girly she is.

Day 29:365 - Spreadsheet

I spent the entire day working on getting my Etsy business spreadsheet up to date.  It is so much work getting everything ready to do taxes.  The sad part is that I am not even half way finished.

Day 28:365 - Ribbon Wand

Kenzie got a ribbon wand for Christmas.  She has so much fun playing with it, and is really good and making designs with it. 

Day 27:365 - Tacos

Tacos are one of our familys favorite meals.  I love them.  We start by making scalloped potatoes.  When they are cooked, I brown some beef and then add some of the potatoes to the meat.  It is so good.

Day 26:365 - Goodbye

Today Scott and I worked on getting rid of the kids baby clothes.  I sorted through everything we have from birth to now and condensed our storage to 1 girl box and 2 boy boxes.  I am so excited to have that clutter gone from my house.

Day 25:365 - Reading

Dean is getting so good at reading.  He can read most of his books without any help.  I am just so proud of him.  He is so eager to learn.  It is very cool to watch.

Day 24:365 - Fort

Scott built a fort for the kids today.  They had so much fun hanging out and playing together.  Kenzie spend the day inside the fort playing her leapster.

Day 23:365 - Lynn Wilson

My mom came into town a few days ago and brought us some Lynn Wilson Burritos.  I am so excited.  I am going to make them last as long as possible.

Day 22:365 - Outside

Today after lunch, Kenzie and I went outside to ride bikes for a few minutes.  She loves her little car.

Day 21:365 - Breakfast

Kids eating breakfast this morning.  They both like to sit on the same side of the table in the morning so the sun isn't in their eyes.

Day 20:365 - Frosties

I bought tons of frosty coupons for Deans party that I didn't use.  So, this month we have been going every few days and redeeming 10 or so coupons at a time.  It has been really fun.  I just store them in the freezer and the kids get one a day.

Day 19:365 - Bikes

Today it was warm enough outside for the kids to go out and play on their bikes.  They loved being able to run around and get some fresh air.

Day 18:365 - Dress

Kenzie loves to dress up.  She has tons to different outfits to play with.  Today she wanted to wear her red Beauty and the Beast dress. 

Day 17:365 - Tag

Dean is learning to read and loving it.  He got the learn to read tag books for Christmas and whenever he wants to practice without us he reads them.  He is so smart. 

Day 16:365 - Table

While I was in Utah, Scott painted our kitchen table and chairs.  I think they look great.  It was a great surprise!

Day 15:365 - Ice

There was ice all over Scott's car this morning, so I got my macro lens and took a few pictures.

Day 14:365 - Lake

Today at work, Scott decided it would be fun to walk on the lake.  This lake was only frozen for a few days.  I think he is crazy.

Day 13:365 - Home

Today I flew home to Georgia.  It was a very long day.  Amy and Austin flew with me.  It was nice to have them to talk to and play with.  Our flight was delayed 2 hours, so we got into Georgia really late.  I was really happy to see Scott, Dean and Kenzie.

Day 11:365 - Destroyer

Emerson aka "The Destroyer" was so much fun this trip.

Day 10:365 - Cousins

Tonight we went to a Bush Family party.  It was so fun to see my cousins again.  I wish we were able to get together more often.

Day 9:365 - Baptized

Today my Grandpa Stringham and Marti got baptized.  It was a wonderful event and I am so proud of them.

Day 8:365 - Piano

I flew into Utah today to attend my Grandpa's baptism.  It was fun to see all my family.  Emerson and I had fun playing the piano.

Day 7:365 - Recommend

Today I got my Temple Recommend renewed.  It always feels good to know you are worthy to enter the house of the Lord.  I am excited to go back with Scott sometime soon.

Day 6:365 - Clearance

Today I went to Target and shopped their clearance.  I got some Christmas things for 75% off and some Birthday gifts for Kenzie at 50% off!

Day 5:365 - Batman & Princess

Dean and Kenzie love to play together.  Dean got a Batman Bat cave for Christmas and Kenzie got a Princess castle.  They like to set them up next to each other and play.

Day 4:365 - Cards

These are the Christmas cards we sent out for 2009.

Day 3:365 - Blow Dry

 

I decided that Kenzie needs to have her hair blow dried after her showers.  She really doesn't like it, but it makes her hair look so nice!

Day 2:365 - Tents

 

This holiday season we let the kids set up their tents and sleep in our room.  They LOVED it.  After Christmas you could find them in their tents playing with their Leapsters all day every day.  Today is the last day since tomorrow we are putting everything away.  

Day 1:365 - Calendar

Every year I get my kids their own calendar.  I keep track of all the events and special things that happen in their lives.  I am excited to see what new things I will be able to record in it!
