2013 | Day 243 - Another Tooth

Kenzie lost another tooth tonight.  She was so brave and just let Daddy pull it out.  It was really easy and she is so happy it's over!

2013 | Day 242 - Magformers

The kids played with the magformers today and they all made some fun designs.  This was Dean's favorite.

2013 | Day 240 - Journal

All the kids have a journal that they can write or draw in a few times a year.  Chase wanted to color today so I thought it would be the perfect time for a journal entry.

I tried a new recipe for the kids today.  They are pizza buns that they can take to lunch.  Dean loves them!

2013 | Day 237 - Blueberries

Chase got to try blueberries for the first time today and he loved them.  He would have eaten the entire container full if we didn't stop him. 

2013 | Day 236 - Tooth

Kenzie lost a tooth this morning and she has another one ready to fall out soon.

We went to the pool today and had a blast.

Kenzie and I made banana bread today after school.

Kenzie had to decorate the can to look like her for homework. I think it turned out really cute!

We sorted all Scott's golf balls and picked some to go into his new display cases. 

2013 | Day 231 - Clomid

I'm starting my 4th round of clomid today.  I know that it took us 7 round of clomid to get pregnant with Chase, but I was sure we would be pregnant again by now.  I am just hoping that we get good news soon.

Chase is not very reverent during church these days.

2013 | Day 229 - Celebrate

 We celebrated Chase's birthday today.  We ate fun food, opened gifts, and had cake.

I am so grateful for this little boy and for the joy he has brought into our home.  I'm also grateful that he loves to get his picture taken.  I love him so much!

2013 | Day 226 - Birthday Prep

I am getting everything ready for Chase's 2nd birthday.  I made him a shirt and now I am decorating the house before I work on his cake.  We are all so excited for tomorrow!

2013 | Day 225 - iPad

Chase loves the iPad.  I let him play in the car today while we were running errands.  It made the day so much easier. 

2013 | Day 224 - Exercise

 I decided that I really want to start exercising and learn how to run.  So, I downloaded a training app and started today.  I wasn't able to finish the entire workout, but I am so proud of myself for getting out there and trying.  I am going to go again as soon as I can.  I am already sore, so it might be a few days.  I am really wanting to get into shape and I think this is the first step!

2013 | Day 223 - Paint

We are painting the room today.  I am not sure how I feel about the color, but I'm sure I'll love it when we are finished. 

2013 | Day 222 - Turned Around

We turned Chase's car seat around today.  I really wanted him to make it to his 2nd birthday, but we decided his legs were way too long and scrunched up.

2013 | Day 221 - Paint Prep

We are getting ready to paint the upstairs bedroom so Dean and Chase can move into a room together. 

2013 | Day 220 - Bye Kenzie

Kenzie walking to the bus on day 2 of 1st grade.  She had such a fun day yesterday and she couldn't wait to go back.  She loves her new teacher and class.  I am so happy for her. 

2013 | Day 219 - 1st Day of School

It's the first day of school!  We are so excited today.  Dean and Kenzie both woke up way before their alarm clock went off.  We got dressed, styled hair, ate breakfast, brushed teeth, made lunches, and packed book bags all before 7:30 am.  The kids were on a roll this morning.  So, we spent the next 30 minutes taking pictures and watching TV shows.  After school, the kids got home and ate some homemade chocolate chip cookies Chase and I made. 

2013 | Day 218 - Pool

We took the kids to the pool to get a few more hours of swimming in before the start of school.  It was so much fun.  We had the entire pool to ourselves and we took advantage of it.  We jumped in, swam, played games, and just enjoyed being together as a family. 

2013 | Day 217 - Open House and Golf

Today was a very busy day.  We went to the kids open house at their school and met their new teachers, then we went to East Lake for a while and helped Scott with some work.  After we left East Lake we went out for lunch then took the kids to Legoland.  It was pretty boring so we left and went shopping at Ikea.  It was an awesome day!

2013 | Day 216 - Funnel Cakes

We made funnel cakes today after church.  It was really easy and oh so good!  We bought a kit that made about 10 cakes and the kids ate them all. 

2013 | Day 215 - School Supplies

I finished buying all the kids school supplies for the school year and now I am getting ready to organize them and get them ready to go to the schools.  I can't believe it's already time for the new school year to begin.  It has been such a fun and fast summer.  The kids are more than ready to be back in school with all their friends. 

2013 | Day 214 - Bikes

Scott took all the kids on a bike ride around the neighborhood this afternoon.

2013 | Day 213 - Teachers

Today was the day the kids got to find out who their new teacher would be this year.  They just post them in the window of the school, so we packed up the car and drove to the school.  The kids were very excited about their new teachers and they both found out that a few friends from last year will be in their classes.
