2013 | Day 273 - Darth Chase

Chase likes to wear the Darth Vader mask around the house.  He will walk up to us and say "FATHER" with his hand out then start breathing really loud.  It is the cutest thing ever!

Church wore me out today and I had a headache, so I took a little nap when we got home. 

2013 | Day 271 - Drawing

I gave Chase a piece of chalk and let him go crazy on the chalkboard this morning.  He really likes drawing lines :)

2013 | Day 269 - Parent-Teacher

We had Parent/Teacher conferences today.  Both the kids are doing great in their classes.  They have good grades and they are doing good with their conduct.  We are so proud of them.  I know how hard they both work.

2013 | Day 268 - Computer

Kenzie made her own laptop computer out of a piece of paper.  She even made a little mouse :)  I love her creativity.

2013 | Day 267 - Temple

I've been wanting a picture of the Salt Lake Temple in our house for years now and my parents gave this one to us a few years ago.  I finally got it framed and on my walls.  I love it. 

2013 | Day 266 - Yard Work

Scott spent the afternoon doing yard work and he got Dean to help.  Dean is such a hard worker.  He doesn't usually complain and if we ask him to do a chore he just gets up and does it as fast and complete as he can.

2013 | Day 265 - Grandma

We have loved having Grandma in town this weekend.  It has been super busy, but really fun.  Today was the kids Primary Program at church and we were all so happy that Grandma was able to see it. 

2013 | Day 264 - Tour Championship

The Tour Championship is hosted by East Lake every year.  One of the perks of having a husband that works at East Lake is that we get to go watch golf for free.  My Mom was able to go with us this year.  It was a lot of fun.  The kids always love going to Scott's work and meeting all his friends. 

2013 | Day 263 - Fall Festival

We went to the fall festival at Dean and Kenzie's school tonight.  It was a blast.  Grandma Bush was in town and got to go and Grandmama Putnam came.  The got to ride the swings, jump in bouncy houses, eat cotton candy and pizza, play games, ride the train and hang out with their friends. 

2013 | Day 262 - Laundry

I did a mountain of laundry today.  I think we washed 6 loads full.  The kids were not happy when they got home from school because I made them help me fold it all. 

2013 | Day 261 - Sams

Chase and I went shopping at Sams this morning.  We always get an icee when we go.  Chase usually drinks the entire thing, he loves them so much.

2013 | Day 260 - Eggs

I've been obsessed with this dish lately.  Its fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, and onions all mixed together and then some toast.  It is so good.  I never thought I'd like onions but they get better and better every time I eat them. 

2013 | Day 259 - Haircut

I trimmed Chase's hair today.  I think it turned out pretty good.  It is always hit or miss since I have no idea what I'm doing and he likes to move a lot.

2013 | Day 258 - Room Redo

We are getting so close to being finished with our bedroom.  We have my desk done (well, we still need to put the doors on the upper cabinets).  We hung new curtains and got new lamps.  Now we need to get new night stands, a new headboard, and hang some artwork.  I love it so much!

2013 | Day 257 - Look

I was taking pictures of Kenzie today and she wanted me to take another picture of her smile.  She loves having her front teeth gone.  I love this girl!

2013 | Day 256 - Desk

We bought new desks and storage from Ikea and Scott is putting my stuff together day.  We also painted our bedroom gray and dark blue.  It looks amazing.  I can't wait until it is all finished.

2013 | Day 255 - Purple

We finished painting Kenzie's bedroom and putting all the furniture in place.  She loves it.  I love that she has a room that is decorated for her.  We also got her a new quilt (on clearance for $10 at Target).

2013 | Day 254 - Trim

We are getting ready to paint Kenzie's bedroom.  Scott moved everything and painted all the trim work today. 

2013 | Day 253 - Toothless

Kenzie is so cute with her 2 front teeth missing.  I love her little smile.  It is such a fun stage in life and I think she looks beautiful.  I thought she looked so cute this morning, that I made her stop so I could snap a few pictures :)

Chase had so much fun playing with his shadow this morning in my bedroom.

Chase and Kenzie ready for Church.  I think Chase needs a haircut. 

2013 | Day 250 - Airplane

Dean has been trying to perfect his paper airplane.  He found a tutorial on how to make one and spent all day getting it perfect.

2013 | Day 249 - Hammering

Scott was putting together some shelves for Kenzie's room and chase insisted on helping.  So, we got out his play tools and put him to work.  He was so cute and tried so hard. 

2013 | Day 248 - Yellow Daisy

Chase and I went to the Yellow Daisy Festival at Stone Mountain today.  We met up with Grandmama and Sharon and shopped for a few hours.  After lunch we left so Chase could take his nap before the kids got home from school. 

2013 | Day 247 - Cooking

I made a few batches of pizza buns to freeze for Dean's lunch.  I love being able to get his lunches made ahead of time so we don't have to worry about it in the morning.

2013 | Day 246 - Homework

2013 | Day 245 - Camping Day 2

The kids got to go swimming, ride the 4 wheeler, and shoot guns while camping.  I sent Kenzie with a camera to document their trip  She did a pretty great job!

2013 | Day 244 - Camping

Scott took the kids camping with his family.  They went to Sharon and Mike's property and they are planning to stay until tomorrow night.  I decided to stay home and work on some projects.
