Scott has been working on the basement every second he gets.  He finished dry-walling the extra bedroom.  I can't wait until it can be painted!

We went to see Ethan get blessed today.  While we were taking pictures, I got this one of me with my kids.  I am so lucky to have them.  They are true blessing in my life and I am so grateful.

We ate dinner on the deck tonight.  It was perfect outside.

Today we had Chase's first birthday party.  It turned out perfect.  His favorite part was the cake.  Aunt Sharon made it for him and he loved every bite of it.

I made Tie Shirts for all the kids at the party.  I hope they will all wear them.  I love the girls shirts best!

I got the mantle decorated for the party.  It turned out better than I could have imagined!

I have been trying to get everything ready for Chase's first birthday party.  Today I made him a bow tie and set up the photo booth.  I had to take a few test shots of Chase to make sure it all was set up right.  I can't believe he is almost 1!

I have been changing the chalkboard everyday this week.  Kenzie loves seeing it each morning.  She loves school more than anything right now!

Today is the first day of School!  Dean is in 2nd grade with Mrs. Robertson.  Kenzie in in Kindergarten with Mrs Joines.

Scott gave Dean and Kenzie fathers blessing today.  They were beautiful blessings and I hope they bring strength to the kids while they are away at school.

We made homemade Chocolate Frostys tonight.  They turned out pretty good.

While I was in Utah, I bought Chase this backpack.  It is weird to think that one day he will be big enough to use it at school.

Today we took the kids to their school to meet their teachers for the school year.  They were both very happy with their teachers.  I think it made Kenzie a little less nervous.

We took the kids roller skating tonight.  They loved it.  It was a little hard at first, but by the time we left they both felt pretty comfortable on the skates.
